Phillip L. Kim

Phil is a Partner in the firm’s San Diego office. His practice includes all aspects of trademark law, including global trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and management for clients in a wide range of industries including both publicly and privately held companies, video game companies, multinational media and entertainment conglomerates, medical and pharmaceutical companies, tech startups, and multinational apparel and footwear companies. Phil also has substantial experience in both international and domestic trademark litigation and regularly handles matters pertaining to IP licensing, UDRP proceedings, contract disputes, IP acquisitions and divestitures, and DMCA take-downs.

During law school, Phil was a member of the San Diego Law Review and Appellate Moot Court Board, and graduated with a concentration in Intellectual Property. Phil is fluent in Korean and is a former junior rock climbing champion of South Korea.
